Wentworth Bridge

Wentworth Woodbridge is a fabulous Grade II listed Jacobean stately home which started life in the late 17th century and belonged to Thomas Watson-Wentworth who was twice the prime minister of the United Kingdom. During subsequent generations, there have been significant extensions to the structure and it now has over 300 rooms.

This was an unusual project involving the restoration of a metal bridge spanning a 6 meter gap between a 3rd story of a stone tower and a garden area.

The bridge was in urgent need of repainting. As another example of micro abrasive cleaning, the bridge was stripped back to bare metal over a period of a week, then primed ready for selecting top coat colour.
