Deincourt Hotel

Deincourt Hotel has been recently purchased by the Best Western hotel group and they contracted Green Key to assist in the full refurbishment of this beautifully 32 bedroom building located in the heart of the bustling market town of Newark-on-Trent, in Nottinghamshire. The hotel built in 1926 has many art deco features and required a careful restoration by a wide variety of crafts people.

Green Key commenced restoration during Autumn 2023 and the exciting project is ongoing. We were tasked with the restoration and thermal upgrade of 30 sash windows.

Some of the windows require a full rebuild and replacement. Made of Douglas fir, we are replacing like for like to ensure the authenticity of the windows. It is a pleasure to work on this local building. All the windows have new staff and parting beads with brush strips added. This will significantly improve their U-value.
