Headley Court

Headley Court

Located near to Leatherhead, Headley Court was originally a beautiful Elizabethan farmhouse, but later rebuilt by the Cunliffe family in 1899 into its present mansion form. During World War II, it was used as a training ground for engineers building airstrips. The house survived the war and was purchased by the Roal Air Force Pilots and Crews Fun.

Used by both the RAF and the NHS as a rehabilitation centre, Headley Court is now being converted into a retirement home.

With over 115 new build two-bedroom apartments to be created, each with multiple sash windows to look at, Green Key Restoration were brought in to start the repairs.

A lot of complex work was needed to remove the existing panels and then refit them. Our team was invited to Headley court to undergo these works in the summer of 2023.
